After receiving feedback from our community, we want to ensure that the tournament runs as smoothly as possible. For this reason, we will now require the use of a LAN adapter for the tournament. If a player asks for a connection test, both players are to send a photo of their Switch home screen to a tournament admin showing that the connection is wired, with their pointer finger in the photo for authenticity. If a player is shown to be playing on Wi-Fi, or is otherwise unable to provide a photo, they will be disqualified from the tournament. If you happen to play someone who you've played with online before, we require that both players take photos of the respective smash tag before and after the set to avoid any potential conflicts with score reports.
